SCRABBLE FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN
Scrabble is a great game for building literacy and numeracy skills, as well as an opportunity to make new friends across town and across the world.WHAT WE OFFER
- Support to start and run school and after-school Scrabble clubs
- A pathway for young players to compete locally, nationally and globally
- A generous base of experienced volunteers willing and able to support young players
- A dedicated invitation-only on-line meeting rooms for young players to engage with each other and stay connected
We are always keen to welcome new young players to the Australian Scrabble community.

Events are organised internationally by the WESPA Youth Committee. They have a website at www.youthscrabble.org
In particular they organise a World event, a selective tournament which involves players from many countries. In 2021 this was organised as a virtual event. In 2022 it may be happening again virtually and players are being selected by criteria
