Pakistan: For the first time ever, there have been no visa denials for Pakistan. We expect an enthusiastic funloving crowd from Pakistan, where there has been a well organised Youth Scrabble scene for some years. Moiz Baig won the WYSC in 2013 and Abdullah Abassi looks a strong contender this year.
Romania
Romania is proud to be represented for the first time in WYSC history by two brave and ambitious girls - Ana Delia Diac and Andra Diana Sandu. Three years ago no kid was playing competitive English scrabble. Since then over 30 young players have participated in the new created national English youth championships.
